NCR Named Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality for Two Decades

Building a strong culture doesn't just happen spontaneously - it takes intentional and renewed commitment from all parts of the organization.

In late 2021, NCR announced our refreshed Customer F.I.R.S.T. (Fun, Innovation, Respect, Success, and Teamwork) values. While these are reimagined, they are built on a 130+ year legacy of excellence while adding some fun along the way.

We are happy to share that for two decades now, NCR has received recognition for living our values and being an inclusive workplace. We have been named Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality by the largest LGBTQ+ advocacy group in the U.S., The Human Rights Campaign Foundation!

For such a long time, it went from being something you had to hide to being acknowledged but not spoken about. And now we're finally moving into a phase of being able to celebrate every individual for how they authentically live their lives, being exactly who they are," shared Alaina Church, electrical engineer and VP of United. "NCR is a great place to work, but there's always that last step of truly enjoying and celebrating everyone's individuality, rather than just bypassing it. This recognition, I'm happy to say, shows we are moving in the right direction."
