Malware Jackpot Update
NCR Atleos has received a confirmed report of a malware jackpot attack in the United States. Additional unconfirmed reports indicate this may not be an isolated incident.
These attacks are targeting drive-up ATMs deployed by community banks. The successful attack occurred at a drive-up ATM which has the common NCR Atleos top box key, and the customer had not configured the machine with all NCR Atleos logical protections.
NCR Atleos strongly recommends that full logical protection is applied asper standard NCR Atleos Logical security best practices whitepaper to ensure protection against attacks.
For questions, please reach out to your NCR Atleos representative.
