What they needed
The customer required an assessment of its existing network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance for its latest software deployment. Due to strict security policies, T&T network consultants needed to find a way to analyze both application and network performance without direct access to the network.
What we delivered
T&T network consultants used a combination of IT staff interviews, packet capture information, device configuration analysis, topology maps and third-party tools to capture critical network performance information. Each step and data source required authorization from the customer.
What happened next
For each suspected network issue, consultants conducted performance analysis and provided next steps for resolution. The customer’s IT staff was engaged during the assessment period and made real-time corrections when possible. In total, more than 160 configuration errors and anomalies were uncovered, with next steps provided for each. The customer is implementing updates based on its standard change control procedures.
